Delmarva Model Railroad Club Holiday Train Show and Open House. Two weekends (January 5th/6th and January 12th/13th). Saturdays, 11am-4pm, Sundays noon to 4pm. Annual Holiday Open House of Delmarva Model Railroad Club, 103 W. State Street, Delmar, Second Floor Camelot Hall. The Delmarva Model Railroad Club is Delmarva's largest club for model railroaders. The club features layouts in N scale, N Scale modules, HO, American Flyer, O Tinplate, O Scale, Standard, and G Scale, with weekly club meetings and fun work sessions. Big Fish Grill Cooking Classes. Please join use Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings for one of the Big Fish Grill cooking classes. Classes will feature menu items from the Big Fish Restaurant Group. Hands on participation is encouraged as we prepare our featured items. Classes also include a tour of the restaurant, commissary, seafood market, and a whole fish cutting demonstration. You will also receive tips about purchasing and preparing your seafood. A minimum of 15 participants are required for each class and a maximum of 20 participants are allowed per class. Each class is $85/person. A full refund will be given up to 5 days before the event. Any cancellations after 5 days will not receive a refund.  You will be notified either the Saturday (for Wed classes) or Wednesday (for Saturday classes) before your class if we need to cancel for any reason. The Art League of Ocean City - Center for the Arts - January 2019 Exhibits. January 1 @ 9:00 am - January 26 @ 4:00 pm. Shared Visions, a collaboration of literary and visual arts. See poetry and prose inspired by the artwork on display. Join us Tuesday January 22, 6-8:30pm to meet the artists and authors, and to hear readings by the Ocean City Writer's Group. Other featured artists include Roni Jones - A mixed media artist living on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland. Rafael Reyes - A Mexican American contemporary artist based out of Bishopville, Maryland. He is also one of forty-seven artists featured in Dana Kester McCabe's book Delmarva School of Art and is a new member of the Art League of Ocean City. Susan Obaza - A transplanted Midwesterner who taught herself wire jewelry crafting. 

FRANKENSTEIN! opening as part of National Theatre Live series at Cinema Art Theater. January 8th, 2019 - 1 PM. Frankenstein returns to international cinemas to mark the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s most famous novel. Scientific responsibility, parental neglect, cognitive development and the nature of good and evil are embedded within this thrilling and deeply disturbing classic tale.
