2020 Delaware Beer Drinker's Choice Awards. Delaware’s best breweries will gather in Lewes at Crooked Hammock Brewery for the “4th Annual Delaware Beer Drinker’s Choice Awards” on Sunday, February 23rd from 12-4pm! Tickets include a chance to taste and vote on over 30+ unique Delaware beers, a commemorative glass, a chance to dress up with friends, and more debauchery than one group of beer-lovers could possibly handle. For those that like to get into character, dressing-up is most definitely recommended, and this year, for the first time, there will be an award given for the best guest group/individual costume! Food and snacks will also be available for purchase during the event! This year’s award categories: *Fan Favorite Beer* *Best Facial Hair* *Best Brewery Costume* *Best Drinkers Costume* Tickets are required and cost $39 (online) or $45 (at the door). There is also a $10 Designated Driver ticket.

Dewey Business Partnership Winter Gala 2020. Join us for this year's Dewey Business Partnership Winter Gala at the new Lighthouse Cove Event Center! 1301 Coastal Highway, Dewey Beach. Lightship Overfalls Mardi Gras Party. Thursday, February 20th from 5-8pm, Diego’s Bar & Nightclub, 37298 Rehoboth Ave next to Crystal’s Restaurant, Rehoboth Beach. Free parking is available in both parking lots. Diego’s has 15 beers, 4 wines and hard cider on tap, many of your favorite bottled beers, and craft cocktails. The bar does not serve food but please feel free to bring something to eat. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to the Overfalls Foundation. Diego’s Bar & Nightclub is open daily at 4 pm and is excited to host the Overfalls Foundation Mardi Gras Party. Join us for an Overfalls Foundation evening out on the town with hospitality, live music-featuring the voice of Cathy Gorman singing popular standards and show tunes from the 1930’s to present day and dancing. Wear “Overfalls Red” or Mardi Gras colors for a fun evening. There is no fee for this event but we plan to have a 50/50 raffle and the bar will be open for your business. Please bring a guest or potential new member!The Lightship Overfalls, located in Lewes DE, is one of only 17 remaining lightships out of a total of 179 built from 1820 to 1952. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 2011, it is one of seven lightships in this country still open to the public.
