FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1 . 5:00-8:00 pm Plunge and 5K Run to the Plunge Registration/Check In at Rehoboth Beach Convention Center SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2 . 11:00-3:00 pm Sand Sculpting Demonstration Local Delawarean, Andy West, will create his polar inspired sand castle on the beach south of the Bandstand and north of Wilmington Avenue. 1:00 pm 5K Run to the Plunge The 5K run and walk starts on Rehoboth Avenue and ends on the Boardwalk. If required due to weather conditions, a road only race will finish on Maryland Avenue. 12:00-3:00 pm Fire & Ice Festivities at the Rehoboth Beach Fire Department, Polar Ice Cream Throwdown Area creameries will feature polar-inspired flavors Hot Wings local restaurants serve up there tastiest and spiciest wings. 2:30-5:00 pm Restaurant Chili Contest Up to 15 participating restaurants will offer their signature chili to participants who purchase a ballot to participate. 4:00-7:00 pm Plunge/Registration Check In at Rehoboth

Surfgimp's annual Beach Bash - Saturday January 19th. 6-10 pm. The Bash will be held at the Rusty Rudder in Dewey Beach. The Surfgimp Foundation provides grants for people with disabilities who want to experience their dreams. $50 ticket includes dinner, four hour premium open bar, live reggae music, silent auction and $69 room rate at the Hyatt Dewey Beach the night of the event. Our mission is to support, through financial grants, individuals with disabilities who require assistance to participate in desired physical activities. Sometimes a disabled individual needs assistance from other people to experience their greatest adventures.
