The Delaware State Fair takes place every year in late July in Harrington, Delaware. The ten-day event is famous for its impressive midway, livestock exhibitions and competitions, races, games, and thrills as well as delicious food. It draws hundreds of thousands of attendees not just from Delaware, but also from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. In addition to traditional family-friendly fun, there's also The Harrington Raceway & Casino that operates on the fairgrounds. The Delaware State Fair offers premiere live music across a few concert venues. Its lineups included many country, rock, and pop stars such as Toby Keith, David Cook, Kelly Clarkson, Julianne Hough, Gin Blossoms, Demi Lovato, Chuck Wicks, Carrie Underwood, Gloria Estefan, Darius Rucker, Milli Vanilli, New Kids on the Block, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jeff Dunham, BradPaisley, Young MC, Trace Adkins, Three Days Grace, Miranda Cosgrove, Greyson Chance, and Ke$ha.

The Kinsy Sicks. One Performance Only! Saturday July 20th, 8:00 pm, Rehoboth Beach Convention Center, Rehoboth Avenue.  Come join The Kinsey Sicks, America’s Favorite Dragapella® Beautyshop Quartet, as they lead us all in resisting these new dark times with laughter, integrity, and heroically high hair in an unforgettable new musical exploring racism, AIDS, extreme macramé, oblong vegetables and, of course, Bette Midler. This is the remarkable true story of four friends from San Francisco who had a life changing epiphany at a Bette Midler concert that led to them to form The Kinsey Sicks in an effort to find joy during the darkest days of the AIDS crisis. This show was an Off-Broadway hit at New York’s fabled SoHo Playhouse. Tickets starting at $35.

Sundaes in the Park 2019. Ocean City MD, July 21, 2019. 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM EDT. Bring your picnic basket and beach chairs to Northside Park at 127th Street and the Bay for ice cream sundaes and live entertainment for adults and children. The lineup of entertainers this season will make you stand and cheer, however, the spotlight will be on you creating your own ice cream sundae with delicious toppings. Sundaes in the Park is a free family concert series offered Sunday evenings in July and August from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For a small fee, enjoy your own ice cream sundae creation as you listen to your musical favorites and watch the sun set over the beautiful Assawoman Bay. Stay and enjoy FIREWORKS after the show!

44th Annual Craft Fair-Angola by the Bay. Saturday July 20th, 9:00 am-3:00 pm, 33457 Woodland Circle (in the shaded area adjacent to the Clubhouse), Lewes. No rain date. Last year, over 100 potters, jewelers, artists, carpenters and other craftsmen made the Craft Show a highlight of our summer season. In addition to the many crafts people who have been regulars of our show, we always welcome new vendors. Shoppers come from all over Sussex County and Delmarva. Come join us and find unique, handcrafted treasures. Refreshments are available from the Angola by the Bay Men’s Club, The Owls. Admission is free. Space rentals for craftspeople are $40 each. The Sea Gals Group has been in existence since 1975. We contribute proceeds from our yard sale, the Mah-Jongg tournament and Craft Show to many local charities, fund a scholarship and projects within the ABTB community.
