30th Annual Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Festival. Saturday, Mar. 14, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center, 229 Rehoboth Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE. The Harry K Foundation proudly hosts its 30th Annual Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Show at the Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center in beautiful Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Over the years, the Chocolate Festival has evolved from a contest to a restaurant promotion. All proceeds from this wonderful event will go directly feeding hungry children throughout the state of Delaware through the Harry K Foundation School Food Pantries, Backpack Program and the Baby Pantry. The funds raised by the Harry K Foundation will be dispersed through the Delaware Food Bank to support School Backpack Programs, as well as established and in instituting school pantries throughout Delaware. 83rd Annual Oyster Eat! Thursday, February 28th, 2020. 8 P.M. Til Midnight. The Sussex County tradition continues with the annual event being held at the Georgetown Fire Hall, 100 South Bedford Street, Georgetown featuring raw and steamed oysters. In 1937 the fire company established an annual fund-raising effort known as the “Oyster Eat.” Hundreds gather here each February to enjoy the food and fellowship of the event, which has been recognized by the United States Congress for its historical and cultural significance. Tickets: $27 in advance $30 at the door. 2020 Delaware Beer Drinker's Choice Awards . Delaware’s best breweries will gather in Lewes at Crooked Hammock Brewery for the “4th Annual Delaware Beer Drinker’s Choice Awards” on Sunday, February 23rd from 12-4pm! Tickets include a chance to taste and vote on over 30+ unique Delaware beers, a commemorative glass, a chance to dress up with friends, and more debauchery than one group of beer-lovers could possibly handle. For those that like to get into character, dressing-up is most definitely recommended, and this year, for the first time, there will be an award given for the best guest group/individual costume! Food and snacks will also be available for purchase during the event! First Friday Progressive Beer Dinner - 4 Restaurants * 4 Courses * 4 Perfectly Paired Beers! Friday February 7th. Come enjoy a beer dinner experience unlike any other. Enjoy a creative and original beer dinner from a few of your favorite restaurants in downtown Rehoboth Beach. Every first Friday of each month, Blackwall Hitch, Cooter Brown's, The Pond, and the Rehoboth Ale House will team up with a brewery to pair a menu item for their designated craft beer. Each location will have a specific seating time, and you will have a short walk in between each seating. There will be limited seating, and it will be $65/person, gratuity is included. You will receive 4 courses, 4 beer pairings, and an education from the brewery and restaurant about each pairing.
