Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival . Thursday October 31st through Sunday, November 12th. Eleven days of wonderful films is what you will enjoy at the 22nd anniversary of the Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival from October 31 - November 10, 2019. The Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival (RBIFF) is the oldest and largest event of its kind in the State of Delaware. Now in its 22nd year, the award winning RBIFF has developed into a mid-Atlantic fall destination event for film enthusiasts from more than fifteen states. The eleven day event is held every November and offers a wide variety of American and international feature, documentary and short films. Due to scheduling however, the 2019 Festival begins October 31. The Festival is presented by the Rehoboth Beach Film Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization which also provides a broad scope of independent film screenings, mini-Festivals, and theme-oriented film series throughout the year. Sea Witch Halloween & Fiddlers Festival . Friday October 25th through Sunday October 27th. Celebrate 30 years! Every year, in late October, hundreds of witches, monsters, zombies and other characters gather on Rehoboth Beach for the Sea Witch Halloween & Fiddlers Festival. The fun-filled festival includes a costume parade and a dog parade, contests for the best costume, magic shows, monster art, pony rides, broom tossing contest, and more. Fiddlers' festival and the trick or treating trail are undoubtedly the biggest attraction for the kids. The costume parade on Rehoboth Avenue takes place every year on the last Saturday of the month starting at 11 a.m. Thousands of participants in costumes are followed by brightly decorated floats, musicians and artists. Saturday afternoon is dedicated to trick-or-treating through the Downtown Rehoboth shops and businesses. Block Party 2019 will once again be held on the second block of Baltimore Avenue, from 11 am- 4 pm on October 20.
